WooCommerce Shopper Lists: what core ships — and what Wishmio completes

WooCommerce 10.9 introduced Shopper Lists, an experimental built-in wishlist. It's a real foundation — and it's deliberately scoped. Wishmio builds on that foundation instead of beside it, and adds exactly what core's team chose to leave out.

What Shopper Lists does today

As described in the WooCommerce developer blog announcement (June 2026), Shopper Lists gives logged-in customers a wishlist and a save-for-later list, built with blocks and exposed through the Store API. It ships as an experimental feature in WooCommerce 10.9+.

That scope is a deliberate choice, not an oversight — core ships the smallest useful version first. But on a real store, most wishlist intent comes from visitors who aren't logged in, and a wishlist a shopper can't share or be reminded about does less work for you than it could.

The completion, side by side

Core's column reflects its documented scope at the time of writing (July 2026, WooCommerce 10.9).
