Back-in-stock emails for WooCommerce — triggered by wishlists
A shopper who wishlisted a sold-out product already told you what they want. Wishmio Pro emails every one of them the moment it restocks — the highest-intent email a store can send, through your own mail setup, with no per-email fees.

Why wishlist-triggered beats a "notify me" form
A notify-me form only captures shoppers who happen to arrive after the product sells out, and only the fraction who bother to fill it in. The wishlist has been capturing that demand all along — every save, in stock or not, is a standing declaration of interest.
So when a product comes back, you're not emailing a list you hope is interested. You're emailing people who each picked that exact product and saved it. No discount needed, no segmentation guesswork — the segment built itself.
How it works
- Automatic trigger. Wishmio watches stock transitions. When a wishlisted product goes out-of-stock → in-stock, the emails queue — no manual campaign, no export/import into a mail tool.
- Everyone waiting, found instantly. "Which shoppers saved product X" is an indexed lookup in Wishmio's storage, so a restock on a heavily-wishlisted product notifies the whole queue without scanning your store.
- Your mail, your costs. Emails send through your site's own mail setup (any SMTP plugin works). No external service, no monthly sends quota, no per-email fees — a restock that emails 500 shoppers costs you nothing extra.
- Throttled, not dumped. Sending runs through Action Scheduler in controlled batches, so a big restock can't melt your mail server or trip provider rate limits. Queue troubleshooting →
- Consent built in. Guests subscribe with double opt-in; every email carries an unsubscribe link; export and erase hook into WordPress's personal-data tools.
Common questions
Does WooCommerce do this out of the box?
No. Core's built-in wishlist (Shopper Lists, WooCommerce 10.9+) doesn't send emails, and its storage can't efficiently answer "who saved this product" — the lookup that restock emails depend on. Wishmio's indexed storage exists precisely to make that query instant.
Do I need the Pro plugin for wishlists at all?
No — guest wishlists, sharing, multiple lists, and importers are all in the free plugin, forever. Pro adds the email layer and analytics on top.
What about price-drop and reminder emails?
Back-in-stock ships today; price-drop and wishlist-reminder emails are next on the Pro roadmap and will be included in the same license.
